Journey Of Dreams

Step into the Journey of Dreams, our latest attraction and a whole new flight experience at Singapore Flyer, and be awed by an engaging multimedia showcase that provides a deeper appreciation and understanding of the Singapore Story and the iconic Singapore Flyer, and extend your experience onboard the scenic flight on the Flyer, taking in amazing 360° views of Singapore and beyond.

Witness the realization of Singapore’s dream through seven exciting galleries at this newest attraction:

Walk through The Prelude and you will be welcomed by a Flyer character in multiple languages, in a backroom setting of revolving 3D rotating gear mechanisms suggesting the inner workings of the Flyer.

At The Dreamscape, be enthralled by a concaved panoramic screen displaying a myriad of images projected onto geometric cut-outs. They transform into psychedelic patterns which revolve and rotate, forming a sequence of circular shapes that depict the circular nature of the Giant Observation Wheel.

You will learn how the Flyer was put together at The Discovery. The main feature here is a 1.5-metre diameter time machine that you can turn like a dial to see a stream of images that tell Singapore Flyer’s pre- and post-construction stories. Using augmented reality technology, you will find out more about Singapore Flyer’s optimal structural design, its stability, its superior cabin system and the difference between a ferris wheel and a Giant Observation Wheel.

Move on to the Fragment of Dreams, and explore Singapore’s culture and architecture. Interact with this display by simply shining a torch onto a portrait of old Singapore. The highlighted areas show informative sneak-peeks of Singapore following three key themes: Futuristic, Cosmopolitan and Global City, Garden City and Multi-racial and Cultural City.

Then reflect on the nation’s history and heritage through the peep holes at the Dream Journal and witness the dreams and aspirations of Singaporeans that have come true in Dream Reflections. These very walls tell the compelling story of the dreams and aspirations that lie at the very heart of Singapore Flyer, showcasing the essence of our tagline, A Moving Experience At Every Turn.

Lastly, the Reservoir of Dreams is a summation of the experience that you have seen, discovered and remembered – all captured through 3 objects :

  • Oneiroi’s Orb – a tactile display using a myriad of circular artefacts from the past and present to represent the Flyer’s spherical shape.
  • The Planet - the first inflated PufferSphere using internal projection in Asia. It projects the transformation of a dream into the icons that are Singapore and Singapore Flyer.
  • The Numeric - presents a fun way to chew on the facts and figures and the physics and physique of Singapore Flyer.

And finally, come on board Singapore Flyer and see for yourself 165 metres above, a panoramic treat of our forefathers’ dreams turning into reality. Your Journey of Dreams has only just begun, so let your dreams take flight while you enjoy a moving experience at every turn.

You can now enjoy both attractions – Journey of Dreams and Singapore Flyer – with your Singapore Flyer flight tickets, and have your flight experience extended from 30 minutes to beyond an hour. Click here to pre-book your tickets now!

10 great reasons to visit Singapore’s most iconic attraction – Singapore Flyer.

It’s the world’s largest observation wheel.
Standing at a stunning 165m, Singapore Flyer is the height of a 42-storey building – that’s some 30 metres taller than the famed London Eye. Taking a flight on this S$240 million wheel is a one-of-a-kind experience you wouldn’t want to miss.

It’s the only place to see Singapore’s magnificent cityscape.
As the wheel turns, you’ll be treated to a visual 360° feast of iconic and historical landmarks and views from the Marina Bay to the Singapore River, Raffles Place, Merlion Park, Empress Place and the Padang. There is no other place in Singapore that offers these breathtaking, magnificent day and glittering night views.

You’ll get to see a video technology that is Asia’s first.
Check out the first inflated PufferSphere using internal projection in Asia at our brand new attraction – Journey of Dreams. It projects the transformation of a dream into the icons that are Singapore and Singapore Flyer. Definitely something you wouldn’t want to miss!.

You’ll get to feast on famous local dishes.
Seafood Paradise @ Flyer, a popular restaurant among locals, serves up signature local dishes such as chilli crab, butter crab, cereal prawns and drunken prawns. Enjoy these authentic local dishes alongside innovative culinary creations by our local chefs. Not to be missed is Singapore’s first 1960s-themed food street – Singapore Food Trail, which serve up a wide selection of local hawker delights.

You can get to enjoy an iconic drink on an iconic attraction.
An all-time classic – the Singapore Sling is synonymous to Singapore and one of the nation’s best-known cocktails. Now you can look forward to a hand-shaken and chilled bona fide Singapore Sling served only onboard Singapore Flyer with the Singapore Sling flight, and complement the indulgence with lovely city sights seen from different altitudes.

You’ll get to experience a 6D motion ride – a first in Singapore.
Gear up for a thrilling 6D motion ride experience at XD Theater – a state-of-the-art 10-seater attraction – a first in Singapore.

You’ll experience urban nature.
Right in the centre of the atrium is a lush, tropical rainforest. The cascading water displays, streams, rocky outcrops and pond fuse together naturally to offer a picturesque landscape for photo taking.

You’ll be able to experience Singapore’s first real flight simulator.
For the first time in Asia, you can fly a real 737 simulator! Flight Experience, Singapore’s first real flight simulator, offers you a unique opportunity to fly a real flight simulator – exactly the same as pilots use for flight training – with more than 20,000 worldwide airports and using the same operating procedures as the real airlines. No experience necessary as full instruction will be provided.

Your toes will be tickled by fishes.
On Level 2 is a fish foot spa – that’s right – it’s a spa where Doctor Fishes (“Garra Rufa”) work their magic on your feet. These fish, imported from Turkey, have healing properties and will give you a pedicure you won’t forget.

For some good Feng Shui.
With Singapore Flyer’s 28 capsules and each capsule’s maximum capacity of 28 persons, the evident figure of 28 means “double prosperity” or “easy to prosper” in Cantonese. Swing to some good Feng Shui onboard Singapore Flyer – the largest wheel of Fortune in its own rights.
